Who We Are
AT Psychiatry, PLLC, is the private practice of Art Terhakopian, MD, and is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
Most mental health providers approach the diagnosis and treatment of mental/behavioral disorders based on clusters of symptoms and little to no exploration of underlying medical etiology or pathophysiology.
However, there are those whose suffering is not only through social and situational causes, but also medical and physiological problems requiring psychiatric interventions.

Dr. Terhakopian is a board certified psychiatrist who keeps abreast of new scientific advances to rapidly translate new science into clinical practice. With Dr. Terhakopian, you will receive comprehensive care with tailored evaluations and treatment including laboratory testing, medications, referral for further medical evaluation and treatment by other specialists, psychometrics or psychotherapy as appropriate.
SERVICES
Dr. Terhakopian specializes in the assessment and medication management (including oral ketamine, MAOIs, and suboxone treatments) of:
- Psychotic disorders
- Mood disorders (e.g., Depression, Bipolar I and II disorders, etc.)
- Anxiety disorders (e.g., Phobias, Social Anxiety, Agoraphobia, GAD, Panic Disorder, etc.)
- Obsessive Compulsive disorder
- Trauma- and Stressor-Related disorders (e.g., PTSD)
- Sleep disorders (e.g., Insomnia)
- Substance Use disorders (e.g., Opioid Use Disorder)
INITIAL INTAKE
$400
The Initial Intake Visit includes 1.5 hour long appointment and includes extensive history review by Dr. Terhakopian and an extensive face-to-face initial clinical interview. Records may be obtained from other providers and labs ordered. Medications may be prescribed after the visit if deemed medically necessary.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT FOLLOW UP VISIT
$200
The Medication Management Follow Up Visit includes a 45 minute face-to-face appointment time with Dr. Terhakopian to review the effectiveness of current medications and to make any updates or changes to medication regimen. In addition, Dr. Terhakopian is often keen on completing solution focused therapy during these sessions to enhance his patient's understanding of the next steps towards wellness.
